Rooms

   Our six rooms are light and spacious  (over 8m²),  decorated in soothing colours, with original artwork, flowers and ticking clocks. Each room is light with a fully glazed door giving access to the private garden area and views to the gardens and wood beyond.  Our guests have their own ‘door within a door’ to go in and out to their garden room as they wish.

   Our floors are tiled with slip resistant tiles in natural colours and have thermostatically controlled  underfloor heating with  cool lying areas.

   Our rooms are totally private, with sound insulated solid walls and ceilings, so

your dog is not disturbed by other residents.

   Rooms can be equipped with  radio or TV.

Bedding

   Your dog can bring their own bed and bedding, and we recommend that they bring at least a blanket with the scent of home on it, to use with one of our  range of beds - soft bed, mattress or one of our special sofas,  whichever bed type will make your dog feel most comfortable.  

Garden Rooms

   The Garden Rooms face the farmhouse and gardens, the stables and the wood beyond providing lots to look at but not in view of other dogs.  Each Garden Room has a sheltered, glazed private area and a low fronted area with railings where dogs can see their neighbours; your dog can choose his or her own favourite place to take the fresh air.  Security is provided by Victorian style railings, there is no mesh at Centre Barks!

   In hot weather we will provide paddling pools in the Garden Rooms, for a splash to cool down.  Our glazed area will provide shelter and warmth on cooler days.

Room Services

   We spend lots of time with our guests, playing and chatting during room service!  Mealtimes can be varied to match your home routine if desired, we also give suitable snacks twice a day.

    Water will be provide at all times, raised dishes are available.

   Each guest is provided with a towel for their own private use, and we will have a rub down after walks; we also have a shower room in case it gets really muddy!

   Centre Barks has lots of toys to entertain our guests, or your dog can bring their favourite play things and comfort items.  If your dog likes to be groomed, bring their brush and we’ll happily deal with bad hair days!  

    DAP (Dog Appeasing Pheromone) plug-ins are in use at Centre Barks.
