Happy Christmas to all our guests and their humans!
We hope you all have a lovely time and Santa is good to you.
At Centre Barks our special Christmas guests wake up to full stockings by their doors, and after our morning walk to the ‘treat tree’ for a welcome snack, we come back to open our presents and have a special breakfast
(which usually includes sausages of course)
We spend the day playing with our new things, eating too much and trying to walk it all off before its time for tea....
Photos of pressy time to follow....
On the farm, all the cows are inside for the winter. We hope D’Arcy and Gatcombe Clay have done their jobs, and calving with begin around
April 1st. Out in the fields, the sheep have enjoyed having the boys, Lionel and Lindbergh around, and they have definitely been doing their job judging by all the red and blue girls....lambs in April too.
All the fields are very wet and wintry, we are spending lots of time washing guests and their rooms! A bit of snow would clean things up....
In May a wifey for our house cat, Papa Lazarou arrived, and she promptly gave us 4 kittens (Papa not the daddy....) who will stay on the farm to catch mice. Badger, Rio, Silvano and Flash kept us entertained from October to Christmas!
