RABBIT RAMBLER.....

Heading East from the farm we set out along

The cow track or across our two old pastures, the ‘Cow Pasture’ and ‘The Bog’ towards the Lonnen.  The Cushet Lonnen is a wide bridleway, now overgrown with hedgerow, trees brambles and wild flowers.  It is the place for exploration by nose and paw - rabbits and field mice abound!  Time for a good meander up and down to see what we can find before making our way back across the ‘High Cushet’ pasture to the farm road.

MOON WALK.....

A short walk (10-15mins) before bedtime, for a stretch of the legs and a late night comfort break before settling into a luxury bed with a biscuit and a night light.  Highly recommended if your dog is used to going out last thing at night!  This walk can be provided any time of year.

These are some examples of our walks, there are many other parts of the farm to explore, and we are happy to take your dog for longer walks if required, subject to availability.  Just contact us to discuss any special requests!

WALKS

Walks are a big part of your dogs holiday at Centre Barks.  Our walks venture out into open fields, along footpaths and bridleways, through woodland and across streams.  We have a network of soft surfaced tracks for gentler strolls in all weather conditions.

Three walks a day are included in our Luxury Holiday Package.   Walks will be taken over a variety of routes and terrain.  Additional walks, experiences and services are available as you choose.

Our Activity Package includes an Explorer Walk or an outdoor play session each day.  Routes will be varied depending on what your dog enjoys and ground conditions.

EXPLORER WALKS are extended walks over varied terrain.

Walks are all taken on leash, but the pace will be

adjusted to suit your dog: some brisk walking and

some time to sniff and explore!

Some rough pasture and steep hill walks will be

more suitable for fit and active dogs.

Gentler routes will be chosen for less active

guests!

These are some examples of our Explorer Walks:

HILLTOP HIKE.....

A steep climb uphill to East Nubbock

Farm, heading south.  From the

top of the hill the views are

amazing, with Housesteads Fort

on the horizon to the north-west and

Carter Bar visible on a clear day.

The walk continues across mature

pasture and parkland, among huge

beech and oak trees, slowly

descending back towards the home

farm.  A detour to visit the horses

is usually in order before we get

back!
